PLEASE READ CAREFULLY our requirements for each hot tub before making a booking. If you are unsure of the measurements then please make sure you have a tape measure handy and then give us a call. You can also email us a short video or photos once you have spoke to us so we can have a look and see if we think it is viable to get a one piece type hot tub into your garden but if its not possible then don’t despair as we can normally still offer you the Canadian Spa instead as this type of hot tub comes in sections and we build it up for you so the access is never a problem for this model.

Requirements for the Orbis Hot Tub
-
A debris-free, flat area of 3m² (approx. 8ft²) is required to safely site the hot tub. This area can be on a patio, lawn, or decking, provided it has been built to be strong enough.
-
The surface must be able to support approximately 1300kg when the hot tub is filled and in use.
-
We can roll the Orbis hot tub up or down low steps, but not steep steps. If the total height of your steps is greater than your own height, it’s unlikely we’ll be able to get the Orbis hot tub over them. If you are unsure, please send us a video with height measurements so we can assess it.
-
We cannot lift the Orbis completely off the ground due to its weight and size. However, it can be tipped onto one end and rolled into position. Its dimensions in this position are 180cm (height/length) x 74cm (width).
-
We need a minimum access width of 78cm through any gateways, passageways, or doorways. Please account for any obstructions such as gas meter boxes, window ledges, or pipes. Always measure the gap at floor level and again at head height, as these may differ.
-
Any overhead obstructions must be at least 190cm high—this also applies to the inside height of door frames.
-
When measuring doors and gates, measure at the narrowest point with the door fully open, from the edge of the door to the frame.
-
If there are any steps or rises in the ground within 200cm of a door or gate, these may raise the hot tub too high to pass through. Please let us know if this applies.
-
The walkway must be straight and continuous, with no tight corners. If we need to turn the hot tub, we require a minimum turning circle of 190cm before encountering any obstacles (e.g. walls, fences, sheds, trees).

-
The access route must be completely clear before we arrive—including removal of bins, bikes, or other obstructions.
-
Any vehicles parked in the driveway must be moved before delivery.
-
You must provide access to a standard 13-amp electrical socket, either outside or through a window. Most UPVC windows have summer locks to allow a cable to pass through while keeping the window secure.
-
We require access to a water supply, either inside or outside. We provide tap connectors for most standard indoor taps.
-
There must be a drain within 10 metres of the hot tub to allow us to pump the water out during collection. If the drain is further away, please inform us when booking.
-
We can only install hot tubs in safe and secure areas. We cannot install in communal gardens or on balconies.
-
We cannot install hot tubs indoors if electrical fittings are nearby, in line with our insurance requirements. An outhouse with no electrics is acceptable.
-
Please ensure all dogs and young children are kept away during setup. We use strong chemicals while sanitising and preparing the hot tub for use.
-
If the hot tub needs to be taken through your house, it’s your responsibility to protect your flooring. Our team cannot remove their shoes repeatedly during the process. There may also be some small drips of water from the equipment during transport.
-
Our installers are very careful, but we ask you to move any valuable or fragile items out of the way in advance.
-
One adult must be present during delivery to:
-
Receive usage instructions
-
Learn how to add chemicals and clean filters
-
Make payment if paying on delivery
-
-
Delivery occurs one day before the first day of use to allow time for the water to heat.
-
For example, a Thursday–Thursday hire means the first full day of use is Friday. No matter what time we arrive, your hot tub will be ready to use the next morning.
-
A 7-day hire includes 6 full days of use.
-
-
For collection: If we have access to the hot tub (e.g. gates left unlocked), a power supply is available, and the hot tub is unplugged, no one needs to be present.
